Subject: resume faq section

I don't claim to be a brilliant resume stylist (my resume is even, blush,
*chronological* at this point!). I have a two-pager, copied front to back,
pretty heavy stock. I found myself with a little extra space on the second
page last time I redid mine, though, and so I did added a FAQ section that
posed three or four very commonly asked interview questions and my
responses. The questions were things like: "What are your most outstanding
achievements from this past year?" "What are your greatest strengths and
weaknesses as an employee?" "What have you been reading lately?"

Almost everyone who contacted me (I sent out 4 resumes, got 4 responses)
mentioned that FAQ section. I think it helped personalize what, quite
frankly, is necessarily a pretty generic document. The results also seem
to prove that, no matter what we're told, many HR people do turn over
resumes and look at the back side.
