Dave--

You wrote (among other things):

> I was unknowing.

That was easy to sense Dave, I mean the "unknowing" part, even from very
early on in your missive (you might want to look that one up Dave).
What's scary is that you seem to be proud of it--the unknowing part I
mean.

>I pondered my position and began to see that having a certificate to use
>a word nobody knew could give me the edge over my competition. It would
>create a gap beteen me and the others.

It's simply not true, much to your chagrin (that's in the dictionary
Dave), that redux is a word "nobody knew." By way of an example: John
Updike (fairly well-known American author) even wrote a fairly well-known
novel with that word in the TITLE--can you imagine Dave! Sold a goodly
number of books in its day. You're wearing your ignorance on your sleeve,
although not to worry--that won't preclude you from finding acceptance
eventually. By someone, somewhere. I've only known you a short time
Dave--two or three minutes actually--but you needn't worry about creating
anything: there is, I'm sure, already a sizable gap between you and
others.

By the way, why is it necessary that the certification issue and your
dumbed-down vocabulary be linked?

Merely idiosyncratic on your part Dave? Is the problem congenital?

Huh?

with sympathy (and a strange kind of awe)...
