Mary asked for suggestions regarding wordless manuals:

IKEA, a Swedish furniture and household goods manufacturer, ships all
their products with "wordless" instruction materials. These little
picture-based assembly manuals work well, I think.

Of course, they do use text for product names and copyright information,
etc. So, I guess they don't qualify as entirely wordless.
