Paula,
A quick suggestion re the CD-ROM part of your project...
For the sites that you plan to link to on the Web, why don't you
contact the owners of those sites and see if they will give you
permission to store their source document on the CD? When you create
your CD version, you would have to change all of the links to 'local'
rather than 'virtual' links, but that way any CD user would be able
to access the whole package.
BTW - since this is going to a published project in one form or
another, I recommend that you gain permission from all of those
outside references anyway.
