Here is a question for all those WinWord Gurus:
>>>>> Well, I wouldn't call myself a WinWord guru, just another encumbered
user.
1. Does winword.exe have any command line arguments?
>>>>> Yes.
2. If it does, what are the command line arguments for winword.exe?
>>>>> You can give it the name of one or more docs to open. Under Win95, if
there are any spaces in the executable path, enclose it in quotes.
Same goes for the doc path(s). For example,
winword c:\docs\userman
or
"c:\program files\msoffice\winword\winword" \thisdoc "\that other
directory\thatdoc"
You can't do it at a DOS prompt, but you can at the Run command line or
in a PIF (Shortcut under Win95). I guess it's really only useful if you
want to create a shortcut to a specific document -- for example, the
Valentine's card I made for my wife this year. (And then I put it in
the Startup folder so she'd get it when she started the computer. I'm
such an incurable romantic, ya know.)
3. How do you find them, for example is it, winword.exe /??
>>>>> Now there's a punctuation problem I'd never seen before.
If anyone has an answer, can they also reply to

doc will come out upside down!
