Coca-Cola Computer Services seeks a technical writer to fill a permanent
position in Vienna, Austria, for a minimum of three years.
We write documentation in English for technically-oriented users who install and
support our software, which runs on the IBM AS/400 and PCs. As the writer
assigned to a product team, you will be responsible for creating new and
maintaining existing technical reference, installation, and user documentation.
Salary will be based on experience and paid in the local currency (Austrian
Schillings).
EXPERIENCE:
-A minimum of five years in planning, researching, writing, and editing
documentation used to program, install, migrate, troubleshoot, and learn
software
-Knowledge of programming, an ability to understand technical concepts quickly,
and the personality to work on a multi-national, cross-functional team comprised
of programmers, business analysts, UI designers, testers, and trainers
-Work experience related to any of the following business areas: finance,
production, sales and distribution (preferably for the beverage industry or
other route sales-based businesses)
SKILLS:
-Project management, desktop publishing, UI design, flowcharting, online help
development, and good working knowledge of the related software (Microsoft
Project, PageMaker, Microsoft Word, RoboHelp, Lotus Notes, Adobe Acrobat)
-Web and multimedia development skills are a plus
