TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Hi Claus,
you are right: these are genuine Technical Writer's topics. Unfortunatley, these discussions fill our mail boxies with messages containing arguments, flames and even insults (coming mostly from TECHWR-L but also from WINHLP-L). I was forced to filter out several discussion topics in these weeks, due to the amount of mail I received. Moreover, I have seen several messages of people leaving the mail list, probably because they were tired to read this stuff. I attend to the lists mostly to exchange technical info and get/give some technical help (like several other people, I think). I would like to discuss trade-union-related topics, but in another place.
See you
