From Computer Reseller News, July 28, 1997 <http://www.crn.com>:

Novell Inc., Orem, Utah, won a legal battle in Illinois to use the
Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE) and Master CNE titles. The Circuit Court
of Cook County reversed a cease-and-desist order from the Illinois
Department of Professional Regulation, which sought to prevent the use of
CNE titles due to possible confusion with the title of professional
engineer.
