This one-day seminar is designed to introduce you to the possibilities
available when designing a Web-based training system. In addition,
you will be introduced to the tools that allow you to quickly create
your first Web-based training system.

Web-based training offers the opportunity to develop training systems
that vary from self paced tutorials to interactive simulations to
campus-like learning communities.

+ Find out the latest about Web (HTML) and CBT authoring tools.

+ Learn how Java and ActiveX are being used in Web-based training
systems.

+ Learn how database-driven webs can simplify training development
and administration.

Case studies will be used to demonstrate the history, present, and
future of Web-based training.
This course is taught by Jennie Achtemichuk, who has designed and developed
web-based training systems for AT&T Wireless and Boeing Commercial Airplane
Group. Jennie is a Seattle-based independent consultant specializing in
online training and information systems for high-tech companies.
