[jennap] Most of the things you can do to help it will also prevent it.
the following are good:

1. drink lots of water
2. get your workstation looked at by a professional ergonimist and make
sure it's SAFE
3. Use soft wrist rests for both keyboard and mouse (I recommend
gel-eez by CASE LOGIC)
4. Stop at least once an hour for at least five minutes. do some
exercises, get water, read a book, whatever. just stay off the computer
for five minutes every hour.

these are the most important things to remember to avoid getting it.
