TECHWR-L! Let's not waste bandwidth debating job titles!!
As promised, a brief summary of the responses I got to my query "What's
your title? At what point do you become a Senior whatever?" Thanks for
all your responses. Far and away, the most common job title is Technical
Writer, with Technical Communicator, Writer/Editor, Editor/Writer,
Documentation Specialist, and Information Developer coming in most
closely behind.
Some people are called Senior _title_ by default (been at the company the
longest). There doesn't seem to be a clear trend as to when you become a
senior anything.
