When I was at Micron, we could not only view employees' pictures, but we
could email or page them from the same page--a pretty nifty feature.
Because everyone wore badges with RFID tags in them, we could track our
entry and exit from buldings on site, and supervisors could track the
hours of their employees (sort of a dirty trick, and it could create
some ill will).

Using Crystal Reports, Cold Fusion, and various other SQL applications,
we could extract data, run reports, track product. Web development is
getting to the point where applications are limited more by our
imaginations than by the technology.
