what PURE techies are telling them. It is still a generalization, but

Yes, I was arguing extremes. I believe that was evident by the use of the
word *pure*. In my opinion, if a liberal arts person has exposure to
technical subjects (at school or at work), that makes them more balanced.
Hence, they are no longer an extreme case.
