Why would you select an option you don't want? I dislike
this kind of question-begging language! Enter a valid code,
choose an appropriate option, type the correct answer!
If the converse is absurd, you don't need the qualifier.
Let's just skip straight to

Choose an ABC menu function.

and let the users figure out which one they want.
