You've not missed anything! The Microsoft Help engine for the Mac only
supports Windows 3.1 help files. They never modified the engine to
support Win 4.0 help. And yes, they *are* going the HTML Help route
(which is part of the reason they've not updated the engine).
Kind of a pain if you needed cross-platform compatibility *prior* to
HTML Help (and your Windows help was in 4.0)!!
