SOCOM is a Sony Research & Development centre in Brussels, involved
in the field of operating systems and interactive audio-visual
services. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to become involved
in the core R&D of a leading consumer electronics company within a
multicultural environment, where English is the working language.

Currently, SOCOM is looking for a full-time technical communicator
that will be located in Brussels.

Your English, which is excellent, is coupled with outstanding
technical writing skills and a strong desire to quickly acquire
knowledge of the fields mentioned above. Experience in a fast-paced
software development environment is an asset. Of course, you must have
the ability to work as a member of a team.

The primary authoring platform is UNIX and the primary authoring tool
is Framemaker. Knowledge of C, C++, objected-oriented concepts and
scripting languages such as Perl would be helpful.

In return, we offer an attractive remuneration package commensurate
with a company of our size. To apply, please write with full CV to

Hedwig Van Houts, SOCOM
Sint-Stevens-Woluwestraat 55
1130 Brussels
Belgium

and contact by email Guy Thomas, the Documentation Home Base leader.

Sony is an equal opportunity company.
