Hello Mike and the rest,

I'll stick my neck out.

The spelling does not bother me nor does it impede my comprehension but I
have problems with a style which I often associate with British
writing. I cal it the "use ten words if five are sufficient" style.

I agrre that this could just be the form that my prejudice takes.
