Client Services Executive - Perm
Directs post-sales customer and product support activities: customer services,
customer applications support, billable consulting, customer education,
post-sales technical product support and product quality assurance testing.
Responsible for systems installation and maintenance. Establishes goals to
assure customer acceptance of company products and services. Defines and
implements methods to accomplish goals through support policies and procedures
concerning correspondence, customer complaints and order processing to ensure
customers receive quality service. Interacts with other functions within
organization to ensure the customer needs are met.
Technical Writer - Contract (need 6)
Writers will be revising and writing hardware manuals for authorized service
contractors. Will work with engineers, field support engineers, and
marketing. Research can include extracting information from wiring diagrams,
blueprints, or visiting factory assembly line. Requires Strong research and
interviewing skills, self-starter, analystical and critical thinker,
mechanically inclined or have a strong interest in the "way things go
together". Experience with Framemaker, Word or Pagemaker. Knowledge of Adobe
Illustrator a plus. Requires degree in Communications, Journalism, English or
related field. Must be able to provide samples of work at interview.
Writers to document internal business procedures, quality assurance procedures,
Y2000 complaince issues, etc. Will also work on system documentation of RPG
400 and RPG III programming languages. Requires 3 - 7 yrs technical writing
experience, software documentation experience, Word experience with
Master/Slave documents, familiarity with RPG, Visio, Excel and Framemaker.
Need procedures writers to document several business processes. These include
order fullfillment, purchasing, etc. Candidates should have experience with
ISO 9000, GMP, and FDA quality standards. This is an ideal position for a
free-lance writer looking for additional short-term work.
Software Documentation Writers to do two primary functions: establish a
procedure for creating an index of C++ objects so that a user can easily find
an object AND work with a test tools' (produced in C++)
requirement document to ensure that similar information ends up in the user
documents that is used to work with the tool. Should have experience working
in a software system development environment documenting the user interface,
object oriented development experience a plus, good technical writing skills,
and Framemaker experience.
Powerbuilder Developer - Perm (need 3)
A major business re-engineering project has created opportunities for
experience PB developers. Our client is in the midst of converting a mission
critical application from mainframe to client/server and have an immediate
need for a programmer to be part of their dynamic team. They are currently
using PB 5.0, Oracle, and Micro Focus COBOL. In this position you will be
responsible for working closely with users to define their business system
needs and transform those needs into solutions. Duties include perofrming
detailed analysis, developing work estimates, specifications and test plans.
Participating in R&D sessions and investigating new technologies. Must have
excellent interpersonal skill with a focus on quality end user satisfaction.
Candidate with GUI development skills, relational database experience and a
programming background that includes COBOL strongly desired.
UNIX System Admin - Perm (need 3)
Need 3 yrs experience and BS degree. In this position you will be responsible
for system installation, software and hardware maintenance, accound
adminstration, performance tuning and storage management, network
adminstration, disaster recovery, and security management. Requires exp. with
HP/UX 10.x and Solaris 2.x. Oracle database exp. and exposure to Unix
utilities such as perl, awk, etc. helpful. Exposure to RAID disk technology,
including Clariion and Sun Storage Array products, preferred. Exposure to
mainframe computing environments and mainframe computing discipline preferred.
Business Analyst - Contract
Assist business and customer service mgmt in utilizing metrics to achieve root
cause analysis. Maintain metrics reporting models and produce periodic
results packages. Ensure reporting process is documented and such
documentation is kep current. Provide recommendations to management for
establishing process improvement priorities, utilizing Cost vs Benefit
analysis and ensuring Win/Win processes for both our client and their
customers. Requires BS/BA in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing
or equiv.
4 -6 yrs marketing/marketing operations/finance/information systems exp.
Knowledge primarily in the area of billing system procedures, Knowledge of OTS
and BrioQuery. Also requires strong database query writing skills. Project
Team experience or training a plus.
Sr. System Admin - Perm
As a key member of the Info. Service team you will be responsible for planning,
installation and suppor of Sun UNIX systems hardware and software. You will
construct and implement programs and scirpts that automate the sysadmin
function, provide end user support (primarily Engineering) for UNIX systems,
and manage projects concerning the planning of system upgrades and
implementations. The desired candidate will have 5 - 10 years of UNIX System
Adminstrator exp., strong familiarity with both Solaris and SunOS operating
systems, excellent communication skills, as well as leadership and
organizational skills. Experience in NIS, NFS, automouter, script writing,
and system internals a must. Experience in system monitoring tools
such as SunNet Manager or HP OpenView a plus.
Sr. Security Manager - Perm
This management level position requires and individual who has 5 -10 yrs
experience on both a technical and management level for computer system
security. Will be responsible for hiring and managing technical staff.
Keeping abreast of new technogly and security trends and planning proactively
for the company internal and external security needs.
Oracle DBA - Contract & Perm (need 6)
Need experience Oracle DBA's to join a team of 13 to provide support for
customer applications developers. Requires experience with database design,
software installation, upgrades, database building, performance tuning
analysis, backup and recovery. Candidates with a development background are
given top preference. Must have 3 yrs DBA experience (telecommunications
background a plus). Clients uses Oracle 7.3.3, HP UX, Sun Solaris, AIX, DB2,
and SQL.
Oracle Developer - Contract/ Perm (need 4)
Need developers who specifically have experience with Designer 2000. Client is
converting their system froma an Open/36RPG running on a Unix box to
client/server using Oracle. The system has 50-75 users with 6 remote offices.
These positions offers the excitement and challenges of reqorking the entire
business operation. Requires strong Oracle skills, Designer 2000, Developer
2000, Case development methodolgies, 4+ years experience. Strong preference
given to candidates with data modeling experience.
Installshield Programmer -Contract
Need programmer with Installshield experience who has written batch programs
and shell programs for software packaging. Must be able to write simple
programs in C, C++, or Visual C++. Must have knowledge of Windows 3.1, 95
and NT. Potential for permanent employment.
QA Analyst - UNIX (need 3 )
Plan, estimate, control and organize assigned work to develop QCPs. Conduct
functional, application, regression and performance testing of custom
developed in-house software. Track issues, errors, and/or discrepancies
resulting from verfication efforts to closure. Build test systems and
automate tests. Responsibilities could also include serving as the UNIX
resource for the QA Department, assisting QA analysts in setting up software
test environments and writing test cases. Requires 2 - 4 years UNIX
experience, including software testing, demonstrated experience with shelll
programming; knowledge of client/server systems and relation or oject oriented
databases, excellent written communication skill and a dedication to teamwork.
Knowledge of SQL and Oracle forms helpful
C++ Software Developer
This position is programmer's dream. It requires an individual with an
"entrepenurial spirit" that has a strong development background. Ths senior
level position requires a self-starter who is technically confident in his/her
abilities. Someone who is able to work with little supervision, creative,
innovative and continually seeks new technical challenges. Prior project
