Exactly.

Anonymous posts serve a number of purposes on this list. Because of
the way I've chosen to handle them, I also screen them for appropriateness
and applicability (and, in some cases rationale) before posting them.
Suffice it to say that every anonymous posting I forward is anonymous
for what I find to be a legitimate reason. Some postings I've simply
declined to forward because they weren't anonymous for a "valid"
IMNSHO reason.

It's not open for discussion on the list. If you don't care to read or
respond to anonymous postings (which is quite possible), simply
hit delete after you read the "Forwarded anonymously on request"
bit at the top of the message.
