I am a tech writer with 14 years experience in this business, and
recently added graphic design and DTP knowledge to my professional
portfolio. I've read Peter Kent's marvelous book "Making Money in
Technical Writing," and I think it's about time I took the plunge into
fulltime contract work.
My question is: I live in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Is there
(or are there) a list(s) of technical writing agencies within the DC,
Northern Virginia, or Baltimore areas that may be in this list serve's
archives, or any place else on the internet? I've tried to reach the
archives of this list serve and I keep getting an error message. If
anyone is aware of such a listing anywhere I would appreciate any help
you could provide.
