When you're deciding on a font, you need to consider whether your text
will ultimately be used as a PDF file...

At my former position, the writer before me had chosen Minion as the
font for the manuals. Looked great in print, but when the
powers-that-be decided to convert all the manuals to PDF files, the
text "faded" unless the reader zoomed in.
