Hi,

I found the answer to my own question of earlier today....

You can exclude words from your dictionary so that the spellcheck will
catch common misspellings (e.g., filed - field...or...massage -
message).

For details, look in the Help file under "Exclude Dictionaries". The
instructions are not perfect, but they will get you started. A few
things to be aware of:

* If you exclude "massage" only, it will not exclude "Massage"
(capital M) or "massages", "massager", etc.
* When you try to close Word after saving your .exc (exclude)
file, you may receive a message telling you that the formatting cannot
be saved in .txt format. Press YES and then choose Text Only.

I hope someone finds this useful.
