International Conference:
INTERFACE DESIGN & DOCUMENT DESIGN
Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands
One-day Symposium, Thursday May 28th, 1998
Workshops, Friday May 29th, 1998

ABOUT THE THEME
In most companies Interface Design is 'R&D' and Document Design is
'Service'. As a consequence Interface Design (ID) and Document Design (DD)
solutions often don't match, although they address the same user. For
companies the difference between ID & DD usually creates organisationalb
problems. For the user it creates problems in understanding the software.
The ID & DD conference focuses on the relationship there should be between
the two disciplines. Interface designers, online help designers or document
designers from leading companies and universities will share their point of
view.
