Unless Society policy has changed recently, that's not the
case. STC does sell its snailmail list of members (in the
form of mailing labels only) who check off their consent to
be included in the list on their membership
applications/renewals for the current year, but it does not
sell e-mail addresses. It is possible that vendors have
gotten e-mail addresses from the STC directory, but again,
members agree to be included in that publication.
