I've always held the view that, as a staff member, I was producing
everything "for hire," which to me means it's all owned by the employer.
Therefore, I've simply left all my files, review notes, and everything.
Some time during the first three months I get a call from a former
co-worker asking, "Where would I find . . . ?"

Of course, I've taken along samples of completed work . . .
