For starters I would try Paint (which is already included with NT). Display
the window or dialog box in your application, press ALT + Print Screen,
open Paint, and then click Paste. Cut out all excess page around the screen
(crop it) and then save it as a 256 color bitmap (not a 24-bit bitmap).
24-bit screens take more space.
All our engineers here use this method to capture screens for their design
and testing documents. I now use this method for all screens in our user
guides. I have the screen capture utility provided with RoboHelp, but I
don't use it anymore...Paint works just as fine.
