Here is what I did a few years ago. I went to a used book store and found a
few good books about grammar. After reviewing them, I feel my skills have
improved quite a bit. I also had a friend who teaches grammar to give me
some of her written tests. I ended up being correct about many of the rules
I was not sure of, and failed on the rules I believed I had correct. This
alerted me to the areas I needed to pay attention to. Very helpful for me.
