Well, there has been enough interest, so here is the NT solution that I
have..... (which is very similar to the 95 one)

TTFN,
Michelle

==============

For Windows NT 4.0 screen shots, the following adjustment is necessary to
avoid
scroll bar moires:
1. In Control Panel/Display, select the Settings tab and choose Color
palette: 256 color (not High Color or True Color).
2. Select the Appearance tab.
3. Select the Windows Standard scheme.
4. Change the Application Background color to white.
5. Choose Save As and name the new scheme. This will allow you to switch
between your preferred color scheme, and the one for screen captures. You
will not need to go through all these steps again.
6. Close the Control Panel.
7. Choose Run from the Start Menu.
8. Enter REGEDT32 and click OK. (If this doesn't work, browse and find
REGEDT32.EXE in the %SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32 folder.)
9. When Registry Editor opens, click on the window labeled
HKEY_CURRENT_USER on Local Machine to bring it to the front, or use the
Window menu to select it from the list in the drop-down menu. You should
see the HKEY_CURRENT_USER tree in the left pane of the window.
10. In the left pane of the HKEY_CURRENT_USER Registry Editor window, open
the Control Panel key folder, then the Colors key folder.
11. In the right side of the Registry Editor window, find the
ButtonHilight item. Double-click on it and change the value to 230 230 230.
12. Find the Scrollbar item and change its value to 230 230 230.
13. Exit Registry Editor.
14. Restart Windows NT.
NOTE: if you adjust the Display Control Panel Settings tab's Desktop Area
setting (translation: change your screen resolution) during a session, NT
may revert to the original system defaults (instead of using the corrected
Registry
keys), and NT will continue to use the original system defaults even if you
change back to the original resolution during the same session. This is not
necessarily visible to the naked eye, so beware. You can correct this by
simply resetting to the appropriate resolution and restarting the NT
system.
