Dear Anonymous:

Join the club. I'm working for a consulting firm just named one of the top
100 fastest growing firms by Fortune. Since *March*, I've had one billable
project with a duration of 6 weeks. I've spent about 5 weeks working 10-15
hrs/week on an SAP training documentation project where we sit around doing
CBTs waiting for the client to send more work, or at least give us another
target date for sending the work so we can go out and hire *more* talented
professionals to sit around doing nothing.

I feel your pain.

I've tried to look at it as a free masters education. I spend my days
fiddling with VBA, doing CBTs, reading reference volumes, and surfing the
web for tech-related info. I've downloaded every demo I can find and learned
a lot about different online help authoring packages, etc.

Good luck, and get out as soon as you can. Any sane employer would
understand your reasons for leaving.
