We are in the process of moving from 3-ring bound manuals to perfect-bound
manuals by designing a cover and beginning to work with our printer. I'm
having difficult getting information either from the printer or via web
search about issues to consider for perfect binding covers, such as design
considerations for varying book thicknesses, which affect the spine and back
cover design, or graphic image formats, or what the production process. If
this is an appropriate forum, I'd appreciate any feedback or pointers to
places for information. Thanks!
