Eric ... forgive me ... I saved this for a slow period and I promise that I
won't turn this into a discussion.

Hi, Tony...I just got around to your message.

Suggestion .. and this assumes that you are using Notes v 4x

Notes allows you to create "Agents" which can be very very powerful

You might create an Agent to run every time new mail arrives.

From the Lotus Notes Desktop: Create -> Agent

A form will be displayed. Create something like the following (I truncated the
Form Prompt with ..." and CAPPED the information you either enter or select
from a pulldown menu.):

Name: TechWriterFile (or pick a more suitable name)
When..." IF NEW MAIL HAS ARRIVED
Which..."Condition...Word and Phrases..." TECHWR-L -at- LIST -dot-
What... "MOVE DOCUMENT YO FOLDER X"

You may find other comnbination of "Word or Phrases" or When or Which
parameters work better, but you should get the idea. I just don't use my work
Notes account for lists...I use Netscape4, which will also filter mail.
