Well no, it's not covered by the same rule. It's correct to say "It is
I."
When I answer the phone and someone asks for Ms. Secara (cough) I
answer: "This is she" not "this is her."

When a personal pronoun is the object of "to be" it's a predicate
nominative, or something like that.
