I've found the past couple of days very interesting and informative.

Just wondering what all of you think of this option:

Does everyone agree that when applying for a job, the most difficult thing
to
ensure is that your resume is going to be read by the recruiter? I mean, if
this person receives
200 resumes, chances are he may not get to the bottom of the pile before
finding a qualified
candidate. You may also be qualified, but your resume IS THE ONE AT THE
BOTTOM!

Here's an idea. Why not be creative with the method you use to send your
resume?

If you are a recruiter and receiving all kinds of envelopes that are
deposited on your desk,
suddenly, you get a package from Purolator or UPS. Which would you open
first? The envelopes
that are neatly stacked in the corner or this package sitting in the center
of your desk? (This of course
is much more expense, but may be worthwhile if its a job you really want.)

I believe this would increase my chances of, if nothing else, having
someone read the resume.

I would especially like other ideas and the opinion of recruiters.
