Interesting. It looks like different people find relief in different tools.
In the last day I've taken over the spare stylus in our department and find
it no more uncomfortable to use for long periods than a pencil; certainly my
wrists don't ache beyond the usual "writer's cramp."

It's fair to point out that I've not really experienced any great discomfort
from extended computer use with any peripherals.

That being said, one downside to the stylus is that I find it *extremely*
frustrating to click on icons, hyperlinks, etc. without shoving them all
over the desktop. It seems to take a lot of practice. (Well, maybe it'll
keep people away from my PC.)
