Hello, all. I just discovered the unexecuted "Happy99.exe" in my Eudora
attachment folder. I strongly suspect that is came through as an
attachment on one of the TECHWR-L digests. I don't always read the digests
all the way through so it is possible that an .exe attachment was in the
digest and I didn't notice it.

I have Dr. Solomon's 7.89 and it did not catch the file because the virus
is too new.

I encourage you do a "find" and search for "Happy99" and see if you get a
hit. If you find it, trash it. As long as it was never executed, you
should be OK.

A good example of why we should never EVER execute .exe email attachments!

Again, I can't be certain that the attachment came from TECHWR-L, but I
strongly suspect that it did so please take the proper precautions.
