Just for any of you who may be interested...my masters program (at Carnegie
Mellon Univeristy) required that we take "Grammar of Standard Written
English." It was a very intensive (often overly so for my taste) course
but it was quite rewarding.
The thing I like most about having had that course is that I have answers
to questions beyond me saying "it just doesn't look/sound right."
By the way...I'm probably as guilty as anyone for errors in posting...I'm a
fast, but inaccurate typer...sorry :)
