Well Jerry,

Do you see the irony here? You post a message dripping from jaundice which
carries with it an actual virus. Funny.

O Rose, thou art sick!
The invisible worm,
That flies in the night,
In the howling storm,

Has found out thy bed
Of crimson joy,
And his dark secret love
Does thy life destroy.

Having done some quick reading I believe that you didn't do it
intentionally, but when I read your apology I was hit with the other irony
of your initial closing: "The last place to look for truth is the
internet." To be sure what I was looking for on the Internet was not so
much truth as decency.
As to my questions for the group, my research is not so much driven by what
I believe to be the standards of good writing, as it is interested with how
the community of technical writers shapes the standards which it deems as
good, kind of an anthropological thing. So while my questions may have no
consequence to you, the answers may have some consequence to your cousins
whose pursuit it is to understand how writers write. In any event, if you
know of some openings for technical writers in So Cal I would only be too
happy to fill one of those positions, it would make my mother very happy.

Best Regards,

Sean Olson
