Just a note on the Wiley Technical Communication series:

Our STC Chapter has been in touch with Wiley recently. There are a total of 15 titles included in the series--several of which are user interface titles (the two most notable are Hackos & Redish: User and Task Analysis for Interface Design, 1998 and delGaldo & Nielsen [yes, Jakob Nielsen!]: International User Interfaces, 1996).

I'll just type the list of titles/authors here. Interested parties may want to contact Wiley directly, as the web site seems to be ineffective. I didn't see the original message, so here is the web address again, just for information sake:

www.wiley.com/compbooks/

And here is the list of titles we were given:

Coe, M Human Factors for Technical Communicators
Hoft, N International Technical Communication
Rubin Handbook of Usability Testing
Hackos Managing Your Documentation Projects
Horton The Icon Book
Designing and Writing Online Documentation
Illustrating Computer Documentation
Hix Developing User Interfaces
Mandel The Elements of User Interface Design
Weinschenk GUI Design Essentials
Allen/Voss Ethics in Technical Communication
Hackos Standards for Online Communication
Galitz The Essential Guide to User Inteface Design

Hope this helps clear up the Wiley mystery.
