Title: Project Manager/Tech Writer

Description: A nationally known commerce software company needs a seasoned
project manager for technical writing projects to take on a short term,
full-time assignment. Working with software and business analysts in
different locations, you will request and receive sections of documentation
from them, monitor the progress of various sections, track publication
files and edit material before it is sent to the Publishing department.
This project is on a strict deadline and may require some travel to
programming sites. Potential for part-time telecommuting.

Qualifications: Experience in project management of technical writing,
training or software projects is preferred; project management in other
fields coupled with writing skills is acceptable. You must be an
independent, and creative time manager, able to keep things moving with
telephone and email correspondence. Excellent writing and editing skills
is a must, plus experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Experience with Access, Framemaker and/or CDROM development is a plus.

Pay Range: $18/hour W2 and up, commensurate with experience.

Contract Length: 3 months, possibility for new assignment or extension.

Location: Northern Indiana, commutable from Chicago area or SW Michigan.
