Maurice, I absolutely agree with you about including graphics in technical
documentation. Consider also, many companies are now translating documents
to non-English languages. In a global community, sometimes graphics is the
best way to communicate. For those who speak English as a second language,
or not at all, a picture truly can be worth "a thousand words". I'm also an
advocate of using SIMPLE ENGLISH in any end-user documentation, for the same
translation reasons.
