Karl Smart and Carol Barnum are co-editors for a special combined issue of
Technical Communication (STC journal) and IEEE Transactions on Professional
Communication. We have received some good proposals for the
topic--collaborative writing on cross-functional teams--but we are still
seeking a few more to round out the special issue. Time is of the
essence, however, as the first draft of the paper will be due for review by
late June or early July with the final paper due by August 15. This is a
great opportunity, however, to be published in two places at once! Submit
your 500-word abstract to Karl karl_smart -at- byu -dot- edu). For more information
about the nature of the topic, see the call for papers at > http://www.ghayhoe.com/TechComm/proposal00a.htm
