Technical Visuals Specialist/Copyeditor
(working with Research Economists)
The Research Department has an immediate opening for a full-time person to design and produce visual aids using technical computer software (spreadsheet, charting, drawing, presentations, and other graphic design programs). Must be able to advise economists and other staff on how to accurately and effectively display statistical and theoretical relationships, using graphs, diagrams, and tables. Also required to edit drafts of highly mathematical research papers for clarity, grammar, and consistent mechanical style.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or graphic design or four years experience in graphic design, grammar, copyediting, proofreading, and publication techniques; plus applicants should have a demonstrated high degree of skill in paying attention to details and working under tight deadlines.
