I completely agree. My primary role as a technical writer involves writing
and the organization and presentation of the information plays a big part in
that.

I use Framemaker as my writing tool and I haven't found it any more
difficult to learn than Word. For many functions, I find it simpler and
easier to revise and change information in Framemaker.

Maybe I am in the minority, but I find it hard to separate structure and
formatting from document content. For documentation to be effective, how it
is presented plays almost as big a role as what is presented.
