Converting from what, Chris?
Also, you might check that the page size in both source and
PDF is A4.  It sounds like one of them (most likely the source doc,
or perhaps the default printer settings) is US Letter, which is
11 in, vs A4, which is 11.69 in tall.

Also check your distilled margins... they might not be what you
expected.
