I'm not sure if I understand your question completely, but we do something
similar for diagrams. We create diagrams that are numbered to illustrate a
sequential process. Below the diagram we have a corresponding numbered list
which describes each step of the process. If you want to do this with a
screen shot, I would suggest taking your screen as usual and using the Word
drawing tools to create your buttons (could be as simple as a number in a
circle) and place those in the appropriate places on top of your screen
shot. Below the screen shot you can list your numbers and the appropriate
descriptions. Hope this helps
Kathleen

Does anyone know of a particular software that would be good for creating
screen prints with number buttons on it directing readers to associated
text? For example, on a name field, I'd like to paste a button number "1"
and then have instructions below the screen print saying 1. Enter user name
here. OR -- does anyone know of a way to do this in Word?

This may seem elementary to most of you but I need the help! Thanks!

Thanks!
