I've never cared for the artificial page numbers.  They provide no information about the distinction between different instances of the indexed term.  Another level of subentry (or a more descriptive second-level subentry) would be more useful.

By the way, HTML Indexer 3.0 (set for release by the end of this month) includes output options for HTML Help and JavaHelp, as well as many productivity enhancements.
