Define the project clearly, including interim goals.
Deliver higher quality than is required, whenever possible.
Meet or beat all due dates, or give plenty of warning otherwise.
Communicate constantly--by e-mail and telephone, and in person.
Invoice honestly.
Conduct yourself as a trustworthy professional.
