US-Central NJ-Writer/Help Author-Contract

We have a long-term contract position for a technical writer and help
author for a large WinHelp project. The client is a major
telecommunications firm and the product is a Windows front end
to a large database application. You will need to organize the
source material and may be integrating input from several other
writers on the project. This contract will last six months or more.
The need is urgent, so if you are available, please respond soon.
If you know someone who is qualified and refer him or her, we
pay generous referral fees. Of course, time is of the essence.

Requirements:
* Possess excellent writing skills
* Know how to write software procedures
* Be able to serve as a Windows Help technical resource
* Paid overtime work is likely
* Be familiar with multi-authoring environments
* Is expert at RoboHelp or ForeHelp (or both)
* Have knowledge of graphics tools such as Paint Shop Pro
Helpful but not required:
* A background in telecommunications
* Knowledge of UNIX and HyperHelp
* Knowledge of FrameMaker

This job is located in an excellent area of Central New Jersey,
just a short drive to the beach, mountains, and New York City.
Pay is based on experience and we expect the total remuneration
to be higher than average because paid overtime work is very
likely.
