Word will let you create a TOC from multiple files. Insert an 'RD' field to
tell Word to look in a referenced document. Then you can build a TOC using
the styles in the referenced document(s) or special 'TC' fields that you add
to these docs. Select these from the Insert, Index and Tables, Table of
Contents Options button.
