positions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Own all documentation aspects of one or multiple products
* Work with sales consultants, trainers, and developers to determine
necessary types and forms of documentation
* Analyze audience needs and develop appropriate documentation
* Document software during development to ensure simultaneous delivery
of documentation and product
* Coordinate documentation reviews with developers and trainers
* Review training materials
REQUIREMENTS
* BS, BA, or equivalent
* 3 years writing in high-tech industry
* Familiarity with Visual Basic, C++, Java, ActiveX, or GUI
development
* Familiarity with object-oriented design and development
* Familiarity with relational database design and development (Oracle,
Access, NT SQL Server, Sybase, or Informix)
* Superior communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Experience with formal documentation release and production process
* Proficiency with MS Word and RoboHelp
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Candidates must be self-motivated, goal- and deadline-oriented, and
knowledgeable in GUI development, relational database design, and
object-oriented design. The best candidates will have experience in
VB/C++, OLE/ActiveX or Java. Previous experience with configuration
and search problems, expert systems, and object-oriented or
declarative languages is desirable. This job requires ability to work
with individuals from various groups such as program management,
training, and development.
